Your Tucson Symphony Orchestra Celebrates the Class of 2020 with Pomp and Circumstance

May in Tucson usually means two things, warmer temperatures and graduations. This year, for obvious reasons, it is a little different. Graduations are evolving into socially distant parades and even drive through ceremonies. Your Tucson Symphony Orchestra wanted to help make graduations feel a little more normal this year. So, Class of 2020, however you are celebrating, here is a little something for you, Sir Edward Elgar’s Pomp & Circumstance March No. 1, performed and recorded by your Tucson Symphony Orchestra.

A message from Tucson Symphony Orchestra’s Music Director, José Luis Gomez:

“It’s a remarkable time for all of you to celebrate such an important moment in your life; we, the Tucson Symphony Orchestra want to celebrate your success and wish you the brightest future ahead.”

Congratulations Class of 2020!

We look forward to the return of your Tucson Symphony Orchestra – the return of live music. The suspension of performances has created an unexpected financial strain. If you find yourself able, please make a donation to show your support. Your gift will be put to immediate good use and provide critical relief to the whole organization.
